OVERVIEW
MAD Studio is a Paris-based interior design practice working at the intersection of culture, craftsmanship, and contemporary living. Their work is defined by strong visual choices, layered references, and a playful yet refined approach to space.
MAD Studio approached Aarco Studio with the goal of translating this universe into a digital experience — a website that feels modern and minimal in structure, yet vibrant and expressive in tone.
THE CHALLENGE
The challenge was to balance two strong elements: a minimalist website architecture and a colourful, energetic brand identity.
The website needed to feel clean and intuitive, while giving full space to the richness of MAD Studio’s projects. Each service and project had to be clearly presented, without diluting the personality that makes the studio distinctive.
The experience had to feel dynamic, visual, and contemporary — without overwhelming the content.
OUR APPROACH
We designed the website as a visual canvas for MAD Studio’s work.
The structure was kept intentionally simple, allowing the brand’s colour palette, imagery, and projects to bring energy and character to the experience.
By using a minimal layout paired with bold colour accents and strong visuals, we created a digital rhythm that feels both controlled and expressive. Navigation was designed to be fluid and intuitive, guiding visitors naturally through services, projects, and studio information.
Website Experience
The brand identity was designed to quietly support the content, never overpower it.
We developed a natural colour palette inspired by architecture, landscapes, and interiors — tones that adapt effortlessly to different places and moods.
Typography was kept deliberately simple, using a single typeface for both titles and body text. This choice reinforces visual harmony and creates a smooth, editorial rhythm throughout the platform. The logo remains minimal and discreet, acting as a signature rather than a statement.
THE OUTCOME
The final website gives MAD Studio a strong, cohesive online presence that reflects both their design sensibility and their personality.
It presents their work in a clear, visual, and engaging way, while allowing the brand’s energy to come through naturally.
The platform is designed to evolve alongside the studio, supporting future projects while remaining timeless in structure and expressive in tone.
